New Glasses

Here we are enjoying our jug of root beer. These are my new fashion 'onion rings' glasses!

Friday was a lovely warm day. Yvonne took the day off work so we could go do some 'girly' things. We spent the morning preparing a macficient lasagna for tea, then we headed out shopping.

She took us to a bead shop - pandora type beads. They had some really lovely ones. They had a really neat key chain which you could make with beads. It appealed to me so I had to make one. I will take a picture and put it on here later.

Then she had booked the 3 of us (her, me and Tamzin) in for a pedicure. That was a nice treat. Tamzin thought it was great - bit hard deciding which color to go with though.

About 7pm we discovered that my cousin Wayne had come down to Prince George to get his truck fixed (they live about 2 hours away), so he came round for the evening. It was great to catch up with him - he hasn't changed a bit. Stories where flying in every direction.

Uncle Ralph is planning to come down on Sunday to have breakfast with us - so that will be nice. He has decided not to go to camp meeting after all now.

Well today (Saturday) it is meant to get to 27 degrees - it's a bit windy at the moment, but I guess that will help to keep it cool. Not sure what is on the agrenda for the day, probably not much, maybe a walk or a drive (I favour the drive!).........
