Day 16 - Hawaii

Today was an amazing day - a real answer to prayer. We headed back up the canyon to the wettest place on earth. We went there 10 days ago and were unable to film as it was fogged in and raining.
The locals say that the sun shine up there only 3 days of the year, the rest of the time it is raining or foggy.
Well today must have been one of the 3 days cause it was beautiful! The Lord really did hold back the rain and fog - numerous times we watched as it scooted around us and there was just a whole of blue sky above us - just amazing. God is good.
The picture above is taken from where we filmed - the view was amazing. Apparently they film quite a few movies down there on that beach. You can only get to it by boat, helicopter or walking.

Kandys resting in the double bass case.

The line up for the loo - (restroom) - during a filming break.

You can see the fog rolling in behind us this afternoon.

Tomorrow is a rec day (no filming). We only have 3 songs left to film and we are waiting for a student to arrive who is singing a solo in one of the songs. So they are giving the students the day off tomorrow - which they are all very excited about.

  1. Great photo's Paula. It brings back memories of when we were in Kauai many years ago - 17 years ago to be more precise.

Nice to see you awake in this picture Alistair. I loved the picture from the other day with you asleep under the tree. Sorry I wasn't able to spend much time with you while you were over here, but I know you were very busy and had so many people you needed to catch up with.

Please say thank you to Kyle and Tamzin for the card and DVD. We have already watched it and it is amazing. By the way I would like to order 20 of the the DVD's you are filming for now please. I have a few people who want one. Just thought I would get in early so I don't miss out.

I hope you all had a lovely day off and continue to have a great time over there. Love to you all and lots of prayers.
