Friday

Another week is drawing to a close. It is Friday evening and we are relaxing at Lynne and Lyndon's place on Vancouver Island.

We have spent the last 2 days shopping - trying to get clothes sorted for Kyle to wear to school, finding a jet ski trailer to buy and looking at washers/dryers.
Somewhere along the way I found a new camera to buy - it's red, so I couldn't resist it! Kyle is busy telling me all the features it has - I haven't got near it yet! It is just a point and shoot one, I wanted a small one that I could carry with me.

Today the 4 of us sat our boat exams to get our boat license. Over here you have to have a boat license to drive ANY thing on the water. It's a bit of a joke really - none of us had studied and we all passed! Glad we have gotten that out of the way.

The weather has been nice and warm. It has been very hazzy here though as there are 400 forest fires raging between lillooet and Williams Lake and the wind has carried the smoke down here. The sun has been orange/red from the smoke. The fireman are keeping very busy.

My back is feeling better than it was on the day I did it, but it still is giving me a hard time. Hopefully it will come right before we have to unload the container.......... any volunteers to come help us move into our house????
