Thought I better get some pictures on here before my sister disowns me!!
Here are some random pictures from over the past few weeks - they aren't in any sort of order.

Yesterday we had a wedding here on campus. 2 of the junior staff 'tied the knot'. Here she is throwing the bouquet!

Jordan and Ellen caught the garter and bouquet.

this was really neat - it was there guest book. Instead of signing a book we did our thumb print in ink and put it as a leaf on the tree and wrote our name on the leaf - it was so cool. then you have a picture to hang on the wall.

The wedding cake! I helped the lady who was doing it (she lives on campus). We were up till 1am the morning of the wedding finishing it. They don't do fruit cakes much here, so it couldn't be made to much ahead of time. It looked really good.

We also had to ice 300 cupcakes with the leaves on top!
We had great fun.

On Monday we went to Whistler and Kyle and Justin went Mountain bike riding. They had a great time - even lived to tell the tale.

Kyle videoed their runs down the mountain on his go-pro. Go have a look at the link below

Dad and Mom having lunch at a cafe in Whistler, and Tamzin and Stephanie enjoying smoothies while we waited for the guys.

Tamzin, Kandys, Rebecca and Jo-Ann - they are all staff kids. They all got matching t-shirts and wore them to the spring picnic. 3 of them are all in the same grade.

Justin trying his skills......

Doing a bit of landscaping round the house. We put weed mating and rocks round to tidy the place up.

Justin built Kyle a workshop to put his tools and bits and pieces in. I should take a picture of it finished - which it is now. I want him to build me a scrapbooking shed now!

Mom and Dads new vehicle and caravan (travel trailer for those non kiwi's)
It is a cool wee trailer - Mom hasn't stopped smiling since they got it. They headed off yesterday for 2 or 3 weeks in it to go sight seeing.

Don't they look swish! Justin in his new shirt and tie!

Kyle, Tamzin, Justin (wearing Kyle's shirt and tie - we hadn't taken him shopping yet!)

Having a picnic with the Hall family at Setton Lake. It was very enjoyable.

Well there are a few pictures of what we have been up to lately. It has been crazy round here with graduation and the wedding. Hopefully things might slow down a bit, now and I might have a chance to 'Be Still' (I'm working on it Andrea!).

Graduation

Well hello all. I must apologize for my absence from updating the blog!

I am not sure where each day disappers to - Mom, Dad and Justin are keeping me very busy!! It is great to have them here and we are having a wonderful time. The weather hasn't been playing the game though, quite cold and not very sunny. So much for this being the warmest and sunniest place in Canada! Summer seems to be arriving about 3 weeks late everywhere on this side of the world.

This weekend is graduation weekend. It all kicked off on Thursday night with David Asherick scheduled to speak. Well he got strep throat so has been unable to speak at 2 of his meetings. We were very blessed though to have others who were able to stand in, and did a very fine job. Paster Asherick did speak last night, and as expected, he was very enjoyable.

Mom and Dad are enjoying seeing and hearing the kids (not just ours) sing and play. I am so glad they are able to be here to be part of it.

Well I better get going for the day - it is going to be a full day of activites with church, baptisms, and the beginning of the graduation celebrations tonight.

Will hopefully have time to put some pictures on here soon..................

Well I can't believe Mom, Dad and Justin have been her over a week now - the time sure does go by quickly. It has been great having them in our 'patch'!
Justin has been helping Alistair in the fields. He also did a spot of building in the studio yesterday. They wanted him back in there again today but Alistair 'claimed' him.

Here are some random photos of things from the last week.

Justin and Kyle ready for vespers - it was in the orchard so they didn't have to wear ties!

On Sabbath we set off to go up the valley to see some meadow flowers - we got about 12k's up the road and the poor van 'gave up the ghost'! We had to get towed home. It was a sad day for Mom and Dad when they realized it wasn't worth fixing. They have done a lot of miles in this van and she has taken them a lot of places.
On Monday we went down to Vancouver and found them a new vehicle - a Toyota Sequoia. Very much like what we would call a Land Cruiser in NZ.

Mitchel came to meet them at the airport on his motor bike.

Justin was VERY taken with this truck! It was huge.

Missey with one of her many boyfriends!

Enjoying a Sunday evening picnic.

Doing a spot of landscaping!

Breakfast!

The lad's getting ready for church - and no they didn't go to church matching! The white shirts are their undershirts.

The weather hasn't been playing the game - it has been very wet and cold. I don't think we are going to get a summer! I sure hope we do though...............

Visitors

Not long now - we are counting down till Mom, Dad and Justin arrive amongst us. One more sleep - well half a sleep really as they arrive so early in the morning that we won't get a full nights sleep!

Kyle and I are heading down to Vancouver today and will stay the night then collect them in the morning. Tamzin wanted to come, but the recording orchestra is sitting again, and as she is in it, she feels she should stay for that.

Well I better get myself organized to head off - I am sooooo excited.

Photo Shoot

On Sunday I did my first photo shoot for nearly a year. I usually take photos of much younger subjects - newborns and children, but this time I got to try my hand at 'junior' photos (grade 11 students).
We had lots of fun doing them. As usual I took way to many and now we have the hard job of choosing which ones are best.
Sorry I have put so many, I just couldn't narrow it down any more from the - way too many that I took!

I have put these on so her family can see them.

Thanks for looking.

Well another week is over - where do they go.
Our tour last weekend went well - which was a real answer to prayer. We got to see new parts of the country which I haven't been to before. We ended the tour on Sunday with lunch in a park with rootbeer floats - it was nice.

On Thursday Tamzin and I went down to the lower mainland (3 hours away) to get her bracket from one of her braces put back on, it fell off the day she got her braces on. So we did a spot of shopping while down there. One of our purchases was her new friend the green monkey. She has decided to retire 'bunny' after 7 years and is replacing him with this fellow. She is currently looking for a name for him/her. Feel free to give your suggestions. She uses it to keep her company at night!

One night this week Alistair went bike riding with Jordan and Jonney. He managed to get through it without falling off - which he as quite pleased about.

2 weeks ago we went down to Alister and Angela Hunt's place for the weekend. We had a great time catching up with them.

Tamzin and Liberty made picklets for breakfast - they were yum.

Roasting hot dogs.

Check out these swish looking strawberries. They tasted as good as they looked!

We have another tour next weekend - it will be our last concert and our biggest. They are hoping to live stream it, so if they do perhaps I will put a link up on here so those who want to can go watch it.

Have a great weekend.
