Tamzin's GIANT Produce!

Tamzin has spent the summer growing GIANT produce - pumpkins and sunflowers.  

  We have others that are bigger.  But the deer took a liking to them so we picked this one early as the deer hadn't eaten it yet and we didn't want them to!

 The Sunflowers were HUGE.  Over 7 feet tall.

She had lots of fun growing these this summer.  Next year she hopes to grow even bigger pumpkins.  He goal is to hollow one out and make it into a boat and float in the pond!  I 'm looking forward to watching that!

Mr Bear!

Mr Bear hanging round our house - I thought he was cute.  I kept having to go scare him away.

After about the 10th time of chasing him away, he got cross at me and decided he wasn't going to leave.  He decided he would like a piece of me. He's not so cute now!
 

 

So he started after me - that sure got my heart pumping.  I took off running back to the house.  He followed me right to the house.  I quickly closed the ranch slider. He came right up to a couple of meters away from me.

Here he is about 2 meters from me - I was peeking out the ranch slider at this stage.
